Philippe Herreweghe: conductor

Born on 1983 in Skierniewice. Studied at the Władysław Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Łódź. In 2009 achieved diploma with distinction in the Painting Studio under the guidance of Professor Piotr Stachlewski.  Since 2009 assistant in the Painting Studio IV of Prof. Piotr Stachlewski. Interdisciplinary artist. Participated in individual and about 80 group exhibitions in Poland and abroud. Co-organizer of Days of the Traditional Music – Pograjka in November 2011r. in Łódź, a member of a group of the traditional singing Miejskie Darcie Pierza and a member of Wielki Chór Chorei (participation in the Oratorium Dance Projekt, 2011, and in the spectacle of Chorea Theatre Bachantki  in dir. Tomasz Rodowicz , 2012). The most important awards and prizes: 2012 – GRAND PRIX at the 8th International Festival of Visual Arts inSPIRACJE / apocalypse in Szczecin, 2011 – GRAND PRIX on the Painting Triennial ANIMALIS in Chorzów,  2010 – Commendation on the 20th National Review of Young Painters, PROMOTIONS 2010, Gallery of Art in Legnica.  Activ in the areas of  painting, performance, installation, sound.
